Standard services require that the tunnel be terminated on customer devices that Core Transit cannot configure. For this reason, support is limited to just our side of the connection. No. Our service is network-centric, meaning it’s designed for router-based connection termination. Typically, we issue a /31 address block, which is designed for a point-to-point network. Windows and Mac operating systems do not support this. Similarly, when using L2TP, it is unencrypted, which many client systems do not support.
No. Core Transit is a service provider network. We monitor it for stability, performance and abuse. We discorage this type of use and some of the typical anonymizer VPN use cases are against our AUP.
